01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the charming streets of Verona, Gelateria Menodiciotto is a genuine delight for gelato lovers craving an authentic Italian experience. This ice cream shop stands out not just for its inviting location on Via del Pontiere but for its exceptional commitment to quality and flavor that truly sets it apart from the typical tourist stops.

The heart of Gelateria Menodiciotto lies in its artisanal gelato, crafted with passion and precision. Their menu offers a well-curated variety that caters to every craving, from the simple pleasure of a Coppetta Piccola—a small cup with one or two flavors priced at €3.50—to the indulgent Vaschette Gelato which come in 500g or 1kg containers, allowing you to mix up to six flavors for savoring at your leisure. If you’re seeking something uniquely seasonal, the shop’s Marroni di San Mauro—handpicked chestnuts from San Mauro—are a testament to their devotion to local and high-quality ingredients.

Stepping inside, you’re warmly greeted by friendly staff who encourage sampling multiple flavors before committing—a small but meaningful gesture that enriches your tasting journey. This welcoming approach is reflected in many customer reviews, such as Simeng Li’s enthusiastic endorsement of the lemon and pistachio flavors, and Sarah Monroe’s appreciation for the option to try before you buy, paired with the charm of detailed cake displays that tempt alongside the gelato.

The texture of the gelato is irresistibly creamy and smooth, each spoonful bursting with balanced, vibrant flavors that feel both traditional and innovative. Whether it’s the delicate sweetness of peach and cream that Mateusz Ignaciuk raved about, or the perfectly executed classic flavors Karina Miranda cherishes, Gelateria Menodiciotto exudes an artisanal quality that feels like a heartfelt tribute to Italian gelato craftsmanship.

Visiting Gelateria Menodiciotto is more than just grabbing a quick dessert—it’s an invitation to slow down and savor the art of gelato. It’s a place where every icy bite tells the story of handpicked ingredients and expert preparation, transforming a simple treat into an unforgettable moment of indulgence. Whether you are a seasoned gelato enthusiast or a curious traveler in Verona, this hidden gem is sure to delight your palate and warm your soul.

For an ice cream experience that’s genuine, expertly crafted, and warmly delivered, Gelateria Menodiciotto is a must-visit destination. Don’t miss out on this sweet jewel of Verona where exceptional gelato meets heartfelt hospitality.

Always go to Venchi because I’m familiar with it from other times visiting, wanted to try something with better ratings and this place came up. The walk there was fun, and the guy was super friendly and willing to let you try any flavors before deciding what to get. The cakes in the fridge looked amazing and very detailed.

Great ice cream place, one of the best gelatos I had in Italy. We had peach and cream flavors but there were many more to choose from. Not much more to say, definitely worth a try when you are nearby.
